Detours Now Available on Amazon

People often say that publishing a book is like having a baby. Since it took over a decade for us to have our one and only son, I'd argue no, not really.  But creating our book was truly a "labor of love." It took a lot of time, energy and dedication for 11 different authors to write their stories and ,in turn, to create a published book. I am pleased to say that after 4-1/2 years of "labor" DETOURS: Unexpected Journeys of Hope Conceived from Infertility is now available to purchase on AMAZON!

If you, or any one you know, is struggling with the overwhelming challenges of infertility, you may find a source of hope and inspiration in Detours. Most people are uncomfortable talking about infertility. It is a delicate subject and loved ones often suffer in silence. They are afraid to disappoint their parents who may be eager to become grandparents. They feel like they are missing out on the most important part of life, having a baby. They don't fit in with the rest of their friends who are having babies left and right without any difficulties. It is so heartbreaking and your biological clock ticks louder with each passing month.

Detours would be a much appreciated gift for anyone you know who is going through infertility treatment. It is sure to open the lines of communication and will certainly be a source of comfort. Or if you are really feeling helpless and don't know how to support your loved one who is having difficulties, Detours will be invaluable to you, too. More of a "support group" than a book, Detours shares the stories from 11 different authors from various, sexes, religions and backgrounds. The reader experiences the fears and frustrations as well as the joys and resolutions as each author shares his/her own journey through infertility. The end of each chapter offers readers what these courageous people wish they had known when going through treatments.

If you have a heart, you will find yourself cheering for the authors of Detours as they deal with the many roadblocks and setbacks of infertility.

The co-authors of Detours will donate a portion of the proceeds from the sales of our books to RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association so that we can provide support and increase awareness for all who are facing infertility. No one should have to navigate this incredibly difficult journey alone.
